Denver is full of cycling enthusiasts, but most of us only do group rides on the weekends. Rather than wait for Saturday to roll around, let's get a 15-20 mile ride in during lunch a few days per week. Riders of all ability levels are welcome. Courses will vary, but will all start and end downtown, be between 15-20 miles, and average speeds of 16-20 mph.
We meet up for potlucks/ BBQ's/ gatherings in town or our homes, for rides, cycling trips, outings, films about cycling/ sustainable community & living, as well as for events/ fund-raisers for wonderful places like Community Cycles of Boulder, which promote cycling. Boulder County Commuter Cyclists provides fun, connection, solidarity, adventure, and growth for commuter cyclists, car-free or car-lite folks & those wishing to learn more about this life-style. Join now and receive information a …
Join us if you'd like to take leisurely road bike rides on the weekend through the scenic countryside around Boulder. Our pace will be slow compared to most cycling clubs, maybe a mild step up from cruiser rides. We'll just go at our own pace. A typical ride might be 20 miles roundtrip in the Boulder area. We go at about a pace of 12-14 mph on the flats, but stop frequently, so the overall pace with stops is about 8 mph over about a 3 hour ride.
Hi all! We are into our 2011 riding season and our group continues to grow in numbers. I imagine that we are now close to or have become the largest cycling club in the Denver and Front Range area. DFC welcomes ALL LEVELS..not kidding..(complete newbies, intermediates, and advanced) of road cyclists and mtn bikers. I started out as a super slow person who didn't even know …

The bus has sofas and a TV, so you can chill, sleep, play games, or whatever you want to do on your way out to Moab, Fruita, Salida, and more! Join us to do some serious rides and some fun rides, and to turn the hassle of driving into a trip that's as fun as the riding once we get there.

Many of us have good intentions of picking up a book and reading it all the way through. However, we often start a book, put it to the side, pick up another one and continue this cycle until we have a pile of unfinished books. Some of us have even given up on reading entirely. Root Yoga Book Club offers us a new way to re-build our internal library and to begin reading once again, as well as have support in completing books and discussing them with a like-minded community. Build your library …
… In a group you will be riding at the groups pace and not your own. Some people prefer riding in a group and some don't, you will have to figure out what works and what doesn't for you. The ride leaders will adjust the pace of the group when needed but it will always be close to the level that is posted. We encourage new riders. That being said we also encourage more experienced riders. In order to meet the group in the middle the new riders will have to work pretty hard to keep up and the more e …
